Jill Kelly McComsey

Here’s what one nominator said about her:

Jill McComsey is a person FULL OF HEART! She is a survivor of Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection
(SCAD). She had a heart attack at the age of 36. Since then, she has been fierce in her dedication to learn
and inform others about the disease, advocate for those suffering from the same issues and, fundraising
to forward research on the condition. Jill started the local SCADaddle in the Northeast as both a
fundraiser and an event to teach the public about the disease and to support families who have suffered
a loss of loved ones due to the disease. Jill is a true inspiration.
Jill is constantly educating women on heart health and on SCAD in particular. She completed training
to become a WomenHeart Champion. She also joined the board of Directors for SCAD Research. Jill is
always promoting heart health and educating women on the issues of SCAD.

Jill will be honored at the American Heart
Association luncheon on May 10 and will receive a prize pack
valued over $500
featuring a $100 gift card from Susan Bella Jewelry
