Description

This 8 hour course meets on 4 consecutive Thursday evenings and is designed to familiarize the student with the fundamentals of safe boating and qualify for state certification. Subjects include: o Boat handling under normal conditions o Adverse conditions and emergencies o Types of boats and boating terminology o Required and recommended equipment o Boating regulations and navigation rules o Lines and knots o Marine radiotelephone usage o Trailer boating o PWC, water skiing, canoes & kayaks, river boating This course is FREE with Squadron membership, or .00 without.
