About the Triple-Play Challenge
It’s Simple, Pick, Play, Win. The Triple-Play Challenge brought to by Service Electric, TV2 Sports, The Lehigh Valley IronPigs and The Morning Call is a fun interactive game in which, prior to each selected Lehigh Valley IronPigs Triple-Play game participants can predict the total runs, hits and strikeouts for both teams (Lehigh Valley IronPigs and visiting team).In addition, participants must fill in the attendance field because if necessary this question will be used as the tie-breaker. Users who participate in the Triple-Play Challenge will be awarded points based on the +/- system. The closer to the actual hits, runs and strikeouts of the game the better your overall score will be. New for 2011, three local celebrities will participate in the Triple Play Challenge (Jeff Schuler, Matt Provence and Mike Zambelli). For each celebrity you score higher than you will be awarded two (2) bonus points. Up to six (6) bonus points can be awarded per contest game. You can only submit your picks up to an hour before first pitch. For example, if first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. the cutoff to make your picks for that game will be 6:05 p.m. Once your picks are submitted sit back relax and enjoy the game. Actual stats for the game will be entered within 24 hours of game completion, so please return to the Triple-Play Challenge to see how you performed for that particular IronPigs game. - Register in the Morning Call contest system (this will be your login for the contest).
- Check out the complete Triple-Play Challenge schedule and mark your calendar so you don’t miss out on any game.
- Make sure you enter the total runs, hits, strikeouts and attendance for each selected Triple-Play Challenge game.
- Once the game is complete, check back to see how you stacked up against the competition on the Triple-Play Challenge Leaderboard, you could be the winner.
